Seacroft is an outer city suburb of Leeds in West Yorkshire. Located approximately four miles east of Leeds city centre, its village green, known as "The Green" still exists, and is one of the oldest in the country with the stretch of land being mentioned in the Domesday Book.
The suburb has good transport links, with regular bus services allowing many residents to use amenities in Leeds city centre, Cross Gates and Wetherby. The closest railway station is Cross Gates, providing people the chance to travel further away to places such as York or Hull.
But being so close to Leeds puts you within easy reach of a vibrant, modern city with a rich industrial past. The unofficial capital of Yorkshire, Leeds has much to offer for all the family, with world-class theatres, performance arts, music and dance, award-winning restaurants, pubs, cafes and superb architecture. There are terrific shopping opportunities plus major international sporting events, colourful carnivals and festivals held throughout the year.
If you would like something further afield, you are also well placed for excursions to take in the astounding natural beauty of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, which is home to some of Yorkshire's most iconic scenery, with spectacular limestone valleys, picture postcard villages, historic castles and a wonderful range of attractions for young and old alike.
