Crofton is a village situated in West Yorkshire and is is seen as a commuting village. With it being located on the A638 it provides excellent links to Wakefield and Doncaster.
Crofton is most famous for the Redbeck Motel, which opened its doors July 1968 and hasn’t closed them since. The motel is within 12 minutes of the M62 j32, 10 minutes off the M1 j40/41 and 15 minutes off the A1 j39, offering the ideal motel for those travellers who are looking for a stopover break on their journey. The village is due to be the site to route the West Midlands to Leeds leg of HS2 through the eastern side of it.
