The training and the general nature of a health care professionals work can make them the perfect fostering candidates. This is because as individuals, health professionals are selfless and caring.
These characteristics are especially important when being tasked with building positive relationships with children who have struggled to form meaningful attachments before. Sometimes a foster parent is the only constant in a young person’s life and it is their role to care and support them.
